What Is a VRIO Analysis?
VRIO is a methodology for analyzing resources within an organization based on traits. This categorization then helps organizations identify the company resources that provide competitive advantages. There are four dimensions that make up the framework, which are referred to as VRIO: Valuable, Rare, Inimitable, and Organized.
How to Do a VRIO Analysis?
- Collaborate with the team and identify current resources. They can include human resources, financial resources, material or non-material resources.
- Once you’ve identified your key resources or capabilities, run them through the VRIO framework.
